LYNDON ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT

Since 1896, Lyndon Electric Department has provided reliable electricity and superior service to the community of Lyndon and the surrounding towns. Lyndon Electric generates, transmits, and distributes energy to a total of 13 towns in the area.

Lyndon Electric is the largest municipal electric department within the state of Vermont, based on square miles of service territory. Currently serving over 5,700 customers.

Wednesday April 23, 2025

Customers of The Town of Lyndon Electric Department (LED) in the following areas will experience an electrical power outage on 4/23/25, Wednesday morning, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The outage is needed to perform make ready work for NEK Broadband to install fiber for high-speed internet access.

 Areas affected include Customers along Kirby Rd. in Burke and Ridge Rd. in Kirby, (Walker Rd, Aurora Lane, Legacy Lane, Locust Ridge, Gorham Dr, St. Peter Dr, Hayes Rd, and Back of the Moon Rd)

Customers of The Village of Lyndonville Electric Department (LED) in the following areas will experience an electrical power outage on 4/24/25, Thursday morning, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. With a rain date of Friday morning 4/25/25 at the same time. The outage is needed to perform make ready work for NEK Broadband to install fiber for high-speed internet access.

Areas affected include Burrington Bridge Rd, Ridge Rd in Kirby, Barnes Brook Rd, Brookside Rd, Town Farm Rd, Kingdom Rd, Orleans Rd, Norrie Dr, Mohawk Dr, Caledonia Lane, Wild Rose Lane
